 Model 6140 Door Access System

The 6140 system combines S&G's model Comptronic 6123 Lock with a modified version of our U.S. Government latching extension for doors. Typical applications include ATM rooms, telephone and computer equipment storage rooms, or any sensitive area where an auxiliary security door lock is beneficial.

The Comptronic 6140 goes beyond traditional locks to bring the benefits of current microprocessing technology to your security application. You'll enjoy tremendous flexibility and greater management control.

    Standard Features:

  • Five 6-digit user PIN codes that are easily changeable.
  • May be set up so that two distinct codes must be entered to open the door.
  • Unlocks your door in one easy step - just enter the codes and you're in.
  • Automatically relocks when you shut the door.
  • Lets you change codes at any time with a few touches of the keypad.
  • Requires no turning of a dial to unlock the lock.
  • Offers secure and reliable motor-driven lock bolt operation.
  • Protects from being opened or manipulated by repeated, random code entry.
  • Flexible interface capability - works with security systems, time locks, alarm systems and CCTV.
  • A time dealy of up to 99 minutes can be set with a time delay overide for immediate access by authorized personnel.


Quick and easy surface mounted installation of lock, strike and keypad allows for offsetting the keypad from traditional lock positioning for increased security.

Over 8,000 openings between battey changes! Two standard 9-volt alkaline batteries are housed in the keypad (S&G recommends Duracell). When batteries get low, the Comptronic audio signal changes pitch to let you know. Your access codes remain programmed while you change batteries.
